A DAY TRIP TO TODI FROM EL MARSAM

Perched on a hill, in a gorgeous setting, Todi is a small gem, known especially for its beautiful main square with its exceptional medieval public buildings, a great Renaissance monument, and a lovely Cathedral.  Todi’s streets converge on the magnificent 13th-15th century Piazza del Popolo, the core of civic life since early times.  In April, Todi hosts one of Italy’s major antique fairs, the Rassegna Antiquaria d’Italia, and in August and September, the Mostra Nazionale dell’Artigianato, a national crafts fair is held.    During this same period, there is a music festival that brings in opera, ballet and stage companies.

Todi is a 50-minute drive from El Marsam.

In an effort to make the discovery of Umbria and Tuscany more convenient and enjoyable for our guests, we have prepared and provide an up-to-date guest booklet with day trip itineraries from El Marsam.  These pages include directions, restaurant and shopping suggestions, and sights to be seen.
