Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport to El Marsam

Exit parking.  Follow green signs for autostrada.  At the traffic circle go almost all the way around.  Keep following green signs for autostrada.  DO NOT take the blue sign for Firenze. 

Bear Right.  Follow sign for A1 Roma/A12 Genoa.   

At 4 kms, enter autostrada.  Follow sign for Firenze.  

At 16 kms,  exit for Pisa Nord/Firenze.

At 17 kms,  bear Right for Firenze.  Do not go to Pisa Nord.  

Rest Stop at 19 kms. 

Rest Stop at 63 kms.   

At 93 kms,  exit for Bologna/Roma  

Bear Right for Roma/Siena  

Rest Stop at 119 kms.

At 173 kms,  exit for Arezzo

While going through Arezzo and the around-abouts, keep following signs for San Sepolcro.  Do not follow signs for Perugia.  

then to Cittá di Castello and Sansepolcro on SS73.

Bear right to SS221 to Perugia E 45

Go left to Perugia E45, not right to Cittá di Castello.

Then left again to Perugia.

You should see a sign that says 20 kms. to Umbertide.

At 157.3 kms, exit for Umbertide. Continue going downhill, past new apartments on the right. You will eventually be on Via Roma. You will come to a traffic circle. Go into the traffic circle and take an immediate right turn. This will put you on Via C. Colombo. You will then come to another "traffic circle/intersection". You will turn right. This is Via dei Patrioti. You will pass apartment construction on your left - keep going uphill. You will shortly see an underpass going under E45. Turn left on the little road about 50 meters before the underpass!! This little road will bear right and go over the highway. Once on the other side of this little bridge, go right. You will now be on strada bianca (gravel road). Keep to the right on the gravel road, going up the hill. Road is lined with tall hedges and vineyards on both sides. You will come to a fenced villa. Bear left around the villa and continue up the hill. You will see El Marsam up ahead on the left side of the road. Blue sign on the front gate that says EL MARSAM.
